Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

4 slices of sharp cheddar cheese

4 brioche burger buns

1 cup crispy fried onions

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp sriracha sauce

1 tbsp honey

Lettuce leaves, for topping

Tomato slices, for topping

Pickles, optional

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to combine without overworking the meat.

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center to prevent puffing while cooking.

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side until browned. Flip the patties, and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each; cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the meat is cooked to your liking.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, and honey to create a spicy sauce.

Toast the brioche buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

To assemble the burgers, spread a generous layer of the spicy sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place a lettuce leaf, followed by a cheesy patty, a handful of crispy fried onions, a slice of tomato, and pickles if desired. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve immediately, accompanied by sweet potato fries or a side salad.
