Ingredients

1 pound Italian sausage (mild or spicy, according to preference)

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup marinara sauce (plus more for garnish)

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Tortilla chips or baguette slices (for serving)

Instructions

In a large skillet, over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Drain excess grease if necessary.

Lower the heat to medium-low, add the softened cream cheese to the skillet with the sausage. Stir until melted and well combined.

Incorporate the sour cream, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, and marinara sauce into the mixture. Stir everything until smooth and cheesy.

Add the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well until all ingredients are well blended and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.

Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.

Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, drizzle a little marinara sauce on top, and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for garnish.

Serve warm with tortilla chips or baguette slices for dipping.
