Ingredients

1 cup canned hearts of palm, drained and roughly shredded

1 cup cooked chickpeas, rinsed and drained

1/4 cup vegan cream cheese

1/4 cup vegan mayo

2 tablespoons nutritional yeast

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for desired spice level)

1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Chopped green onions or fresh parsley for garnish

Tortilla chips or sliced veggies for serving

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the drained and shredded hearts of palm with the cooked chickpeas. Use a fork or potato masher to lightly break them down while leaving some chunks for texture.

Add the vegan cream cheese, vegan mayo, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, Old Bay seasoning, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper to the bowl.

Mix all the ingredients together until well combined and creamy, tasting to adjust seasoning as necessary.

Transfer the dip to a serving dish. If desired, sprinkle chopped green onions or fresh parsley over the top for garnish.

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serve with tortilla chips or sliced veggies for dipping.
