Ingredients

1 cup milk (or milk alternative)

1 cup water

2 tablespoons loose-leaf vanilla rose tea (or 2 tea bags)

1-2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (to taste)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of ground cardamom (optional)

Dried rose petals for garnish (optional)

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Boil Water: Begin by bringing 1 cup of water to a boil in a small saucepan.

Steep Tea: Once boiled, remove from heat and add the loose-leaf vanilla rose tea or tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes to fully extract the flavors.

Heat Milk: In a separate saucepan, heat 1 cup of milk over medium heat until steaming but not boiling. You can froth the milk using a whisk or milk frother if desired.

Combine Ingredients: Remove the tea from steeping and strain if using loose leaves. In the brewed tea, stir in honey or agave syrup and vanilla extract. If you enjoy a bit of spice, add a pinch of ground cardamom. Mix well.

Mix with Milk: Carefully pour the prepared tea mixture into a mug and top with the steamed milk.

Garnish and Serve: For an elegant finish, sprinkle some dried rose petals on top and leave a mint leaf as a garnish. Serve immediately.
