Ingredients

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

½ cup buttermilk

½ cup raspberry puree (fresh or frozen, blended and strained)

Red food coloring (optional)

1 cup heavy whipping cream

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Heart-shaped sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with heart-shaped cupcake liners.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the buttermilk. Mix until just combined.

Gently fold in the raspberry puree and a few drops of red food coloring, if desired, to enhance the pink hue.

Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about ⅔ full.

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Allow the cupcakes to cool in the tin for about 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

While the cupcakes cool, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.

Once cooled, frost the cupcakes with the whipped cream using a piping bag or spatula.

Decorate the frosted cupcakes with heart-shaped sprinkles for that romantic touch.

Prep Time: 20 min | Total Time: 50 min | Servings: 12 cupcakes

                            - Presentation Tips: Arrange the cupcakes on a beautiful platter, or present each cupcake in a small decorative box tied with a ribbon for a charming gift. Add fresh raspberries or edible flowers on the side for an extra touch of elegance.
