Ingredients

2 ribeye steaks (1 inch thick)

8 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon wedges, for garnish

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Steaks: Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

Cook the Steaks: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Once hot, carefully place the steaks in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is achieved.

Add Garlic Butter: During the last minute of cooking, add 2 tablespoons of butter, minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme to the skillet. Spoon the melted butter over the steaks while they finish cooking. Remove the steaks from the skillet and cover them loosely with foil to rest.

Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and let it melt. Add the shrimp in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2 minutes on one side, then flip them over and cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

Combine: Once the shrimp are cooked, remove from heat and add a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness.

Serve: Slice the rested steaks and plate them alongside the shrimp. Drizzle the garlic butter sauce from the skillet over both the steak and shrimp.

Garnish: Top with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

                Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 45 minutes | Servings: 2

                  - Presentation Tips: Arrange the sliced steak elegantly beside the shrimp, and drizzle additional garlic butter over the top. Serve on a warm plate with lemon wedges and a sprinkle of chopped parsley for a romantic flair.
