Ingredients

1 lb ground turkey

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 packet taco seasoning

1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed

1 cup corn (fresh, frozen, or canned)

1 cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)

2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)

2 packages of refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup sour cream (for serving)

1 avocado, sliced (for garnish)

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook Turkey: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onions and cook until soft, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.

Season Turkey: Add the ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain any excess fat if necessary.

Add Ingredients: Stir in the taco seasoning, black beans, corn, and diced tomatoes. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until heated through.

Prepare Crescent Rolls: While the filling cools slightly, unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Arrange them in a circular pattern on a greased baking sheet, overlapping the wide ends.

Fill the Ring: Spoon the turkey filling into the center of the crescent roll ring, then sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.

Fold and Seal: Bring the points of the crescent rolls over the filling and tuck them into the center. Don't worry if it looks rustic!

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.

Serve: Allow the Taco Ring to cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with sour cream, avocado slices, cilantro, and lime wedges for garnish.
