Ingredients

8 oz elbow macaroni

1 can (12 oz) tuna in water, drained

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 cup celery, diced

1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped

1/2 cup sweet pickles, diced

1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: 1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed

Instructions

Begin by cooking the elbow macaroni in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, and Dijon mustard. Mix until well blended.

Add the drained tuna and break it apart gently with a fork, mixing it into the dressing.

Incorporate the diced celery, red onion, sweet pickles, and fresh dill into the bowl. Stir until everything is well combined.

Add the cooled macaroni to the dressing mixture and fold it gently until the pasta is evenly coated.

If using, fold in the thawed peas and cherry tomatoes for an added burst of flavor and color.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serve chilled as a delightful side dish or a light main course. Enjoy!
