Ingredients

1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and black pepper, to taste

3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Fresh cilantro or green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a bowl, combine the honey (or maple syrup), Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, and sesame oil. Mix until well combined to create the sweet Sriracha glaze.

In a large mixing bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

Pour the sweet Sriracha glaze over the Brussels sprouts and toss again to ensure all the sprouts are well coated.

Spread the Brussels sprouts out on a baking sheet in a single layer, cut side down for maximum caramelization.

Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the sprouts are tender and crispy, tossing halfway through for even cooking.

Once done, remove from the oven and let cool slightly.

Transfer the roasted Brussels sprouts to a serving platter and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and fresh cilantro or green onions before serving.
