Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)

1/4 cup honey

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Pork Chops: In a bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Add the pork chops and coat them well. Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor).

Heat the Skillet: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Cook the Pork Chops: Remove the pork chops from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and add to the skillet. Cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F).

Make the Sauce: Once the pork chops are cooked, remove them from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the reserved marinade and bring it to a simmer. Cook for 3-5 minutes until it thickens slightly.

Serve: Drizzle the sauce over the pork chops, garnish with fresh chopped parsley, and serve with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
