2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast

½ teaspoon salt

½ cup warm milk (110°F)

1 large egg

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Topping:

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tablespoon milk

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the warm milk, egg, and melted butter. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.

    Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic. Place it in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

      Make the Filling: In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in the chopped strawberries gently to combine.
