Ingredients

2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons bourbon-flavored extract (non-alcoholic)

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Steaks: Season both sides of the ribeye steaks generously with salt and black pepper. Let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes for even cooking.

Preheat the Pan: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Cook the Steaks: Add the seasoned steaks to the hot skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer for precision (145°F for medium-rare). Once cooked, remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate, loosely covered with foil.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Add Cream and Flavorings: Pour in the heavy cream, and stir in the bourbon-flavored extract, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens slightly.

Combine with Steaks: Return the rested steaks to the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over the top. Let them heat through for about 2 minutes.

Serve: Plate the steaks and generously drizzle with the bourbon garlic cream sauce. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
