Ingredients

8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti

1 lb flank steak or sirloin, sliced thinly against the grain

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 small onion, diced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of the pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Prepare the Steak: Season the sliced steak with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for about 2-3 minutes, or until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil. Add the onion and garlic, cooking until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Then, add the cherry tomatoes and cook for another 2 minutes until they start to soften.

Make the Cream Sauce: Lower the heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well, then add the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Let the mixture simmer for about 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of the reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.

Combine Pasta and Steak: Add the cooked pasta and steak to the skillet, tossing everything together to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce. Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if necessary.

Serve: Divide the steak pasta into bowls and garnish with fresh basil leaves. You can add extra Parmesan cheese on top for added flavor.

              Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 4

Enjoy your delicious and easy Savory Steak Pasta Delight! ❤️
