2 ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon capers, rinsed and drained

2 tablespoons heavy cream

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the Steak: Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before cooking to reach room temperature. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.

    Sear the Steaks: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time based on your preferred doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate, loosely covered with foil.

      Create the Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute or until fragrant.

        Mix the Flavors: Stir in the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, lemon juice, and capers. Cook for another minute, allowing the flavors to meld.

          Finish with Cream: Reduce the heat to low, then stir in the cream, mixing thoroughly. Allow the sauce to gently simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of water to reach your desired consistency.

            Add the Steaks Back: Return the steaks to the skillet, turning them to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to warm through, basting with the sauce.

              Serve the Dish: Transfer the steaks to serving plates and spoon the creamy sauce generously over each. Add the remaining tablespoon of butter to the sauce in the skillet and swirl it until melted for extra richness.

                Garnish: Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the steaks for a pop of color and freshness.
