Ingredients

4 cups frozen corn kernels

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

½ cup heavy cream

¼ cup cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon sugar

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

In the slow cooker, add the frozen corn kernels.

In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, heavy cream, cream cheese, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and creamy.

Pour the butter and cream mixture over the corn in the slow cooker, stirring gently to combine.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

After the cooking time is up, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well incorporated.

Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. If you prefer a creamier texture, mash some of the corn with a fork for a few seconds.

Scoop the creamed corn into a serving dish, garnish with fresh chopped parsley, and serve warm.
