- 2 whole Ripe avocados
- 4 slices Whole-grain or sourdough bread
- 1 small clove Garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice
- to taste Salt and pepper
- ¼ teaspoon Red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons Feta cheese, crumbled (optional)
- for garnish Microgreens or arugula (optional)
Place the slices of whole-grain or sourdough bread in a toaster or on a grill. Toast until golden brown and crispy.
While the bread toasts, cut the ripe avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
Add the minced garlic, fresh lemon juice, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Use a fork to mash the ingredients together until you reach your desired texture — smooth or chunky.
Once the bread is ready, spread a generous layer of the avocado mixture evenly on each slice.
Sprinkle red pepper flakes for a bit of heat and crumbled feta cheese for a creamy, salty touch.
Top with microgreens or arugula for freshness. Serve immediately and enjoy!
