Ingredients
  

1 lb ground beef (or turkey)

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Cook the Meat: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef (or turkey) and cook until browned. Drain any excess grease.

      Sauté Vegetables: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the meat. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the onion is translucent.

        Mix the Base: In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.

          Combine Everything: Add the cooked meat mixture to the bowl with the soup and sour cream mixture. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, reserving a small amount for topping.

            Assemble the Casserole: Spread the meat mixture evenly in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Top it with an even layer of frozen tater tots, and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top.

              Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

                Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.
