Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

¼ cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Begin by marinating the steak bites. In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, ginger, and black pepper. Add the steak bites and let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.

While the steak bites are marinating, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.

Add the marinated steak bites to the skillet and sear for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and allow it to melt. Add the shrimp, cooking them for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.

Pour in the remaining marinade and sesame oil into the skillet, stirring well to coat the shrimp. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Add the cooked steak bites back to the skillet, tossing everything together to ensure that the steak and shrimp are well-coasted in the garlic butter soy glaze.

Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

                Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 4

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve on a large platter with a drizzle of the garlic butter sauce from the skillet, garnished with additional green onions and sesame seeds for a pop of color. Pair with steamed rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal. Enjoy your savory bites!
