Ingredients

1 pound breakfast sausage, crumbled

4 large eggs

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

Fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a skillet over medium heat, add the crumbled breakfast sausage. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Pour the egg mixture into the skillet with the cooked sausage, and cook over medium heat until the eggs are scrambled and just set, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and mix until melted and combined. Remove from heat.

Carefully unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.

Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the sausage and egg mixture onto the wider end of each triangle.

Roll the dough tightly around the filling, starting from the wide end and pinching the edges to seal. Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped chives before serving.
