1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1 (10 oz) can Rotel tomatoes with green chilies, drained

1 (12 oz) package breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled

1 (8 oz) package refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Freshly chopped cilantro (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, drained Rotel tomatoes, cooked sausage, garlic powder, onion powder, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well blended.

      Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate it into triangles as indicated on the package.

        For each triangle, spoon about 1 tablespoon of the sausage and cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of the triangle.

          Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the point, ensuring the filling stays tucked inside. Place the rolled crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

            Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top of the crescents.

              Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.

                Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Optionally, garnish with fresh chopped cilantro for added flavor.
