Ingredients

1 cup dried hibiscus flowers

4 cups water

1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries

2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)

1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Whipped cream (optional, for topping)

Fresh raspberries and mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

In a small pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

Once boiling, remove from heat and add the dried hibiscus flowers. Let steep for about 15 minutes.

Strain the hibiscus tea into a large container, discarding the flower petals, and stir in the honey or agave syrup while still warm. Let it cool slightly.

In a blender or a small saucepan, combine the raspberries with 1/2 cup of the hibiscus tea and blend until smooth. You can strain this mixture for a smoother texture if desired.

In another saucepan, heat the milk gently until warm but not boiling. Then stir in the vanilla extract. You may froth the milk using a frother or whisk if desired.

To assemble the latte, fill a glass with a few tablespoons of the raspberry mixture, add a layer of hibiscus tea, and top with the warmed milk.

Gently stir to combine and create a beautiful gradient effect.

Top with whipped cream if using, and garnish with fresh raspberries and mint leaves.
