Ingredients

1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 cup pepperoni slices

1/2 cup bell pepper, diced

1/4 cup black olives, sliced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle approximately 1/4 inch thick.

Using a pizza cutter, slice the dough into 2-inch squares.

In a mixing bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, diced bell pepper, black olives, dried oregano, and garlic powder. Mix well.

Take one square of dough and place approximately 1 tablespoon of the filling mixture in the center.

Pinch the corners of the dough square together to form a sealed ball. Repeat this process until all filling is used.

Grease a round baking dish or pizza pan. Arrange the dough balls in a wreath shape on the dish, leaving some space between them.

Brush the tops of the dough balls with the beaten egg to give them a golden color while baking.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves for a burst of color and flavor. Serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
