Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) of crescent roll dough

24 small cocktail hotdogs or mini sausages

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 egg (for egg wash)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Sea salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate it into triangles.

Combine Ingredients: In a small bowl, mix together the shredded cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic powder, paprika, sea salt, and black pepper.

Assemble the Pigs: Place a small spoonful of the cheese mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle. Next, place a hotdog or mini sausage on top of the cheese mixture.

Roll Them Up: Starting from the wide end, roll the crescent triangle over the sausage and cheese mixture, pinching the edges to seal them well.

Egg Wash: In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and brush it over the tops of the wrapped sausages to give them a golden-brown color when baked.

Bake: Transfer the pigs in a blanket to the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Garnish and Serve: Once out of the oven, allow them to cool slightly. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving with your favorite dipping sauces.
