Ingredients

1 pound fresh pizza dough

8 ounces ribeye steak, thinly sliced

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 green bell pepper, finely chopped

4 ounces provolone cheese, shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cook the Steak: In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced ribeye steak, chopped onion, and green bell pepper. Season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the steak is browned and the vegetables are tender. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Prepare the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangular shape about ¼ inch thick. Cut the dough into equal rectangles approximately 4x6 inches in size.

Assemble the Breadsticks: On one half of each rectangle, place a generous spoonful of the steak mixture and top with a mix of provolone and mozzarella cheese. Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and press the edges to seal thoroughly, ensuring no filling escapes during baking.

Apply Egg Wash: Brush the tops of the stuffed breadsticks with the beaten egg to give them a golden color when baked. Sprinkle additional mozzarella on top if desired for extra cheesiness.

Bake: Place the stuffed breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Serve: Once baked, remove the breadsticks from the oven and let them cool slightly. Cut each breadstick into smaller pieces if desired. Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if using.

                Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 35 minutes | Servings: 4-6

                  - Optional Serving Suggestion: Pair with marinara sauce or cheese dip for an extra indulgent treat!
