Ingredients

8 oz penne pasta

1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small onion, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 cup mushrooms, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Sauté for about 5-6 minutes until softened. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant. Remove the vegetables and set aside.

Cook Steak: In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced ribeye steak. Season with salt and pepper. Sear the steak for about 3-4 minutes until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove and set aside.

Create Sauce: Pour the heavy cream into the skillet. Stir well, scraping up any bits from the bottom of the pan. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Add Cheese: Lower the heat and gradually stir in the provolone and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.

Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked pasta, sautéed vegetables, and steak back into the skillet. Toss everything together until well-coated with the cheesy sauce.

Serve: Plate the pasta in bowls or on plates, garnishing with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color.
