Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced

1 green bell pepper, finely chopped

1 small onion, finely chopped

4 oz provolone cheese, shredded

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp black pepper

1 package egg roll wrappers

Vegetable oil for frying

Salt to taste

Instructions

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add a drizzle of vegetable oil. Once hot, add the thinly sliced sirloin steak and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned but still tender.

Add the chopped onions and green bell peppers to the skillet with the steak. Sauté for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables soften. Sprinkle in the garlic powder and stir until everything is well combined. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and shredded provolone cheese. Stir until well combined.

Take an egg roll wrapper and place it on a flat surface with one corner facing you. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the steak and vegetable mixture onto the center of the wrapper. Top with a tablespoon of the cheese mixture.

To wrap the egg roll, fold the corner closest to you over the filling, folding in the sides, then roll tightly to seal. Use a little water to moisten the top corner to help seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the prepared egg rolls in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serve the egg rolls hot with your choice of dipping sauce, such as a spicy ketchup or a creamy ranch.
