Ingredients

12 slider rolls (preferably brioche)

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1/2 cup basil pesto (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, basil pesto, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Spoon the pesto chicken mixture evenly over the bottom half of the slider rolls.

Place the top half of the rolls over the chicken mixture.

Brush the melted butter generously over the top of the slider rolls, ensuring they are well coated.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil to prevent over-browning, and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the sliders are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.

Slice the pull-apart sliders along the seams, serve warm, and enjoy!
