Ingredients

1 pound pastrami, thinly sliced

1 cup sauerkraut, drained and rinsed

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon mayonnaise

4 large flour tortillas or wraps

1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

2 tablespoons butter, softened

1 teaspoon caraway seeds (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the drained sauerkraut with Dijon mustard and mayonnaise. Mix until well incorporated.

Lay out the flour tortillas on a clean surface. Spread a thin layer of the sauerkraut mixture evenly over each tortilla, leaving about 1 inch from the edges.

Layer the thinly sliced pastrami on top of the sauerkraut mixture, followed by an even sprinkle of shredded Swiss cheese. If desired, sprinkle a few caraway seeds for added flavor.

Carefully roll each tortilla tightly away from you, ensuring the filling remains inside. Tuck in the sides as you roll to enclose the filling.

Preheat a large skillet or pan over medium heat. Spread the softened butter on the outside of each rolled tortilla.

Place the rolls seam-side down in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Remove from the skillet and let them cool for a minute before slicing on the diagonal. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
