Ingredients

8 oz. penne pasta

1 lb. sirloin steak, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, sliced

1 bell pepper (red or green), sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

3 cups beef broth

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded provolone cheese

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Start by heating the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced sirloin steak and cook until browned, approximately 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes until they are tender and caramelized. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Return the steak to the skillet, then add the penne pasta, beef broth, Italian seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir everything together to combine.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover the skillet and let it simmer for 12-15 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked and has absorbed most of the liquid, stirring occasionally.

Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle the shredded provolone cheese evenly over the pasta. Cover the skillet for a few minutes until the cheese is melted.

Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy your comforting, cheesy delight!
