Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

12 small slider buns

6 slices cheese (cheddar or American)

½ cup lettuce, shredded

½ cup pickles, sliced

¼ cup ketchup

¼ cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons mustard

1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish

1 tablespoon mustard seeds (optional, for crunch)

Instructions

In a bowl, combine the ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, mixing until just combined.

Divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions and form small patties, slightly larger than the slider buns, as they will shrink when cooked.

Preheat a griddle or skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Add a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

While burgers are cooking, in a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, and relish to make the special sauce.

Toast the slider buns on the griddle for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Assemble the sliders: Spread a layer of the special sauce on the bottom bun, add a patty with melted cheese, followed by lettuce, pickles, and another dollop of sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.

If using, sprinkle mustard seeds on top for an extra crunch before serving.

Prep Time: 15 min | Total Time: 30 min | Servings: 12 sliders

                  - Presentation Tips: Arrange the sliders on a large platter and serve with extra pickles and sauce on the side. You can garnish with fresh parsley for an added pop of color!
