Ingredients

1 pre-made pizza dough

1/2 cup refried beans

1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend

1/2 cup cooked chorizo, crumbled

1/2 cup chopped tomatoes

1/4 cup red onion, diced

1/4 cup black olives, sliced

1 jalapeño, sliced (optional for spice)

1 avocado, sliced

1/4 cup sour cream

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

1 teaspoon taco seasoning

Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place the pizza stone inside if you have one, to heat up.

Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer it to a pizza peel or a baking sheet.

Spread the refried beans evenly over the dough, leaving about 1 inch border around the edges.

Evenly sprinkle taco seasoning over the refried beans.

Layer the cooked chorizo over the beans, followed by the chopped tomatoes, red onion, and black olives.

Top with the shredded Mexican cheese blend and jalapeño slices, if using.

Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the top to help with browning.

Carefully slide the pizza onto the hot pizza stone in the oven (or place the baking sheet in the oven).

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

Remove the pizza from the oven and let it sit for a couple of minutes.

Top with fresh avocado slices, a dollop of sour cream, and chopped cilantro.

Slice and serve immediately, enjoying the unique flavors of Mexican cuisine fused with delicious pizza!
