Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup white wine (optional)

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and pepper.

Sauté Garlic: In a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Deglaze with Wine: If using, carefully pour in the white wine to deglaze the pan, scraping up any bits stuck to the bottom. Allow it to simmer for about 2-3 minutes.

Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Pour this mixture over the sautéed garlic in the skillet and stir well.

Add Salmon: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over each piece.

Bake: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the skillet from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
