Ingredients

20 jumbo pasta shells

1 cup cooked and shredded chicken breast

1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, plus more for topping

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup spinach, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 cups marinara sauce

Fresh basil, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, shrimp, ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, chopped spinach, minced garlic, Italian herbs, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce evenly on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Stuff each cooked shell with the chicken and shrimp mixture using a spoon or a piping bag.

Place the stuffed shells in the baking dish over the marinara sauce. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells.

Sprinkle additional mozzarella cheese over the top of the shells for extra cheesy goodness.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil, and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil if desired before serving.
