4 cups water

4 black tea bags

1 cup fresh pineapple, diced

1/2 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

1/4 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)

Ice cubes

Lemon slices and pineapple wedges for garnish

Instructions
 

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

    Once boiling, remove from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

      Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.

        In a blender, combine the diced pineapple and half of the lemon juice (1/4 cup). Blend until smooth, then strain through a fine sieve into a bowl to remove pulp.

          In a large pitcher, mix the cooled tea, pineapple juice, remaining lemon juice, and honey/agave syrup. Stir well until the sweetener is fully dissolved.

            Refrigerate the mixture until chilled, about 1-2 hours.

              To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the lemony pineapple iced tea over the ice, and garnish with lemon slices and pineapple wedges.
