Ingredients

12 wonton wrappers

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)

1/4 cup green onions, chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Cooking spray

Fresh cilantro (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Lightly coat a muffin tin with cooking spray.

Gently press a wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, making sure it covers the bottom and sides well to form a cup shape. Spray the tops with a bit more cooking spray for extra crispness.

Bake the wonton wrappers in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until they turn golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool slightly.

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, chopped green onions, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Spoon the jalapeño cream cheese mixture evenly into each baked wonton cup, filling them generously.

Return the cups to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the tops are slightly golden.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a minute. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 12 wonton cups
