Ingredients

1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 egg (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Layer the sliced pepperoni over the cheese, ensuring it's evenly distributed.

In a small bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, olive oil, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic. Spread this mixture evenly over the pepperoni layer for an added flavor punch.

Starting from one end, carefully roll the dough over the filling, tucking in the edges as you go to create a tight roll. Pinch the seams to seal the Stromboli.

Transfer the rolled Stromboli to the prepared baking sheet. In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush it over the top of the dough for a golden finish.

Cut 3-4 diagonal slits on top of the Stromboli to allow steam to escape while baking.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
