Ingredients

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon

1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 package (8 oz) crescent roll dough

1/4 cup jalapeños, chopped (optional for heat)

Sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, crumbled bacon, chopped green onions, garlic powder, black pepper, and jalapeños if using. Mix until well blended and creamy.

Unroll the crescent roll dough on a floured surface, and separate it into individual triangles.

Place a small spoonful of the cheese and bacon mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Carefully roll the dough from the wide end to the point, ensuring the filling is sealed inside.

Place the rolled bites on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each one.

Lightly brush the tops of the bites with a bit of water and sprinkle with sea salt for an extra crunch.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: About 20 bites
