Ingredients

1 pound elbow macaroni

4 cups water

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

¼ teaspoon paprika

2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

½ cup cream cheese, softened

½ cup milk

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Instant Pot: Place the elbow macaroni in the Instant Pot with 4 cups of water and 1 teaspoon of salt.

Pressure Cook: Secure the lid on the Instant Pot, making sure the valve is set to sealing. Select the “Manual” or “Pressure Cook” function, set to cook on high pressure for 4 minutes.

Quick Release: Once the cooking time is complete, do a quick release by carefully turning the valve to venting. Be cautious of the steam.

Stir in Butter and Spices: After the steam has released, stir in the butter, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika until the butter melts.

Add the Cheeses: Next, add the shredded cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, and milk. Stir well until everything is melted and smooth.

Season: Taste your mac and cheese, then add salt and pepper to your liking. If you want a creamier texture, add a little more milk.

Serve: Spoon the mac and cheese into bowls or on plates. For a fun twist, sprinkle some extra cheese on top and let it melt before serving.
