Ingredients

2 lbs mini smoked sausages (little smokies)

1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite)

1/2 cup grape jelly

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

Chopped chives or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together the barbecue sauce, grape jelly, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined. This will create a sweet and tangy glaze.

Add Little Smokies: Place the mini smoked sausages into the Instant Pot. Pour the prepared sauce over the sausages, ensuring they are well coated.

Cook: Close the lid of the Instant Pot, making sure the steam release valve is set to the sealing position. Select the Manual or Pressure Cook button and set the timer for 5 minutes.

Release Pressure: Once the cooking time is up, allow a natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then carefully switch the steam release valve to venting to release any remaining pressure.

Serve: Open the lid and give the sausages a gentle stir to coat them in the sauce. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the little smokies to a serving platter. Drizzle some extra sauce from the pot over them.

Garnish: If desired, sprinkle chopped chives or parsley over the top for an added touch of freshness and color.

Enjoy: These Smoky Sweet & Spicy Little Smokies make for a delicious appetizer or party food!
