Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1 cup mayonnaise

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup lump crab meat, picked over for shells

1/4 cup green onions, sliced (plus extra for garnish)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons butter, melted

Optional: Chips, bread, or vegetable sticks for serving

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth.

Add Cheese and Crab: Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, lump crab meat, sliced green onions, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and lemon juice. Mix gently to combine; be careful not to break up the crab meat too much.

Season It: Taste the mixture and add salt and pepper as needed.

Prepare Topping: In a small bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs and melted butter. Stir until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated with butter.

Assemble Dip: Spoon the crab mixture into a baking dish (approximately 8x8 inches) and spread it evenly. Sprinkle the buttered panko breadcrumbs over the top.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbling.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the dip from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with additional sliced green onions if desired. Serve warm with chips, toasted bread, or vegetable sticks for dipping.
