Ingredients

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 cup powdered sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups milk chocolate chips

1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)

Sea salt for garnish

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, softened butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Shape the peanut butter mixture into egg shapes (about 1-2 tablespoons each) and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes until firm.

While the peanut butter eggs are chilling, melt the milk chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using) in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water or in the microwave in 30-second intervals until fully melted and smooth.

Dip each peanut butter egg into the melted chocolate using a fork, allowing excess chocolate to drip off. Place the chocolate-covered eggs back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.

Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle a tiny pinch of sea salt on top of each egg for added flavor.

Once all the eggs are coated and salted, return them to the refrigerator for another 30 minutes to let the chocolate firm up.

Enjoy your homemade Reese’s eggs as a delicious treat or give them as gifts to friends and family!
