Ingredients

6 large croissants, preferably day-old

1 cup diced ham

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

4 large eggs

1 cup milk

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh chives or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Begin by lightly greasing a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Slice the croissants in half and arrange the bottom halves in the baking dish. Ensure they're overlapping slightly for a cohesive base.

Evenly layer the diced ham over the croissant bottoms, followed by the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese, distributing it evenly across the dish.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until fully combined.

Pour the egg mixture over the layered croissants, ham, and cheese, allowing it to soak in for at least 10 minutes. This ensures the croissant is well saturated.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the egg is set.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

Garnish with chopped fresh chives or parsley if desired before serving.
