1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

8 oz mushrooms, sliced (button or cremini)

1 cup beef broth

1 cup sour cream

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp paprika

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

8 oz egg noodles

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cook the Noodles: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, seasoning with salt and black pepper. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Remove the beef from the skillet and drain excess fat if needed.

      Sauté Onions and Garlic: In the same skillet, add butter and the chopped onions. Sauté until the onions are soft and translucent, about 4-5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for another minute, stirring frequently to avoid burning.

        Add Mushrooms: Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are browned and tender, approximately 5-7 minutes.

          Combine Ingredients: Return the browned ground beef to the skillet. Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and paprika. Stir everything together and bring the mixture to a simmer. Reduce heat to medium-low and let it cook for about 5-7 minutes.

            Finish with Sour Cream: Remove the skillet from the heat and gently fold in the sour cream until well incorporated. Check the seasoning, and add more salt and pepper if necessary.

              Serve: Toss the egg noodles with the beef stroganoff sauce until well coated. Serve immediately, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
