Ingredients

1 pre-baked pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes

1/2 cup chopped pecans

4 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, and melted butter until smooth.

Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition, then mix in the vanilla extract.

Fold in the coconut flakes and chopped pecans until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Pour the chocolate mixture into the pre-baked pie crust, ensuring it’s evenly spread.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is set but slightly wobbly in the center.

Allow the pie to cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.

Once ready to serve, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then spoon or pipe it over the chilled pie.
