Ingredients

2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)

12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 lemon, sliced

Optional: Fresh arugula or spinach for serving

Instructions

Season Steaks: Generously season both sides of the ribeye steaks with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Set aside while you prepare the shrimp.

Prepare Shrimp: In a bowl, toss the shrimp with a pinch of salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat until bubbling.

Cook Steak: Add the seasoned ribeye steaks to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time based on your preferred doneness. Once cooked, transfer the steaks to a plate and cover with foil to rest.

Cook Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.

Combine & Garnish: Return the steaks to the skillet with the shrimp. Spoon some of the garlic butter over both the steaks and shrimp. Cook together for another minute to combine the flavors.

Serve: Slice the ribeye steaks and serve on a platter with shrimp atop. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices. If desired, serve over a bed of fresh arugula or spinach for added freshness.
