4 cod fillets (about 6 oz each)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1 lemon, sliced (for serving)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare the Garlic Butter: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but do not let it brown. Stir in the lemon juice and smoked paprika, then remove from heat.

      Season the Cod: Rinse the cod fillets under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

        Arrange Fillets: Place the seasoned cod fillets in a baking dish. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over each fillet, ensuring they are well coated.
