For the Garlic Butter Chicken Bites:

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

For the Savory Creamy Parmesan Pasta:

8 ounces fettuccine or pasta of choice

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried basil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional: Red pepper flakes, for a kick

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.

    Prepare the Chicken Bites: While the pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the skillet.

      Sauté the Chicken: Add the bite-sized chicken pieces to the skillet, sprinkle with smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

        Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

          Combine Chicken and Sauce: Return the chicken to the skillet with the garlic butter sauce. Toss to coat the chicken in the sauce. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley.

            Prepare the Creamy Parmesan Sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, olive oil, garlic powder, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer.

              Add Parmesan: Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.

                Mix Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked pasta to the creamy sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly.

                  Serve: On a plate, serve a generous portion of the creamy pasta, topped with the garlic butter chicken bites. Garnish with extra Parmesan, parsley, and red pepper flakes if desired.
