Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon active dry yeast

1 teaspoon sugar

½ teaspoon salt

¾ cup warm milk (about 110°F)

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

¼ cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons olive oil

Sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

In a small bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Create a well in the center and add the melted butter and the yeast mixture.

Gradually mix the flour into the wet ingredients until a dough starts to form.

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.

While the dough is rising, prepare the garlic mix. In a small pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 2 minutes, being careful not to burn it. Stir in the parsley and red pepper flakes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and knead it briefly. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape each piece into a ball.

Using a rolling pin, flatten each ball into a small disc. Add a teaspoon of the garlic mixture and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese in the center. Fold the edges over and pinch them to seal.

Arrange the rolls in a greased baking dish, seam side down. Cover them with a towel and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Once the rolls have risen, brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.

Bake the rolls for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious garlic bliss bread rolls warm!
