Ingredients

1 pound pizza dough

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup pepperoni slices

1/2 cup cooked sausage, crumbled

1/2 cup bell peppers, diced (any color)

1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced

1/4 cup black olives, sliced

2 tablespoons pesto

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll Out the Dough: Lightly flour a surface and roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.

Spread the Pesto: Spread the pesto evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Layer the Fillings: On one half of the dough, layer the mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, crumbled sausage, diced bell peppers, sliced mushrooms, and black olives.

Season: Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the layered fillings for added flavor.

Fold and Seal: Carefully fold the other half of the dough over the fillings. Pinch the edges well to seal and prevent the fillings from escaping during baking.

Brush with Egg Wash: Brush the top of the garbage bread with the beaten egg to give it a golden color when baked.

Score the Top: Make a few small slits on the top of the bread using a sharp knife to allow steam to escape.

Bake: Place the bread in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and cooked through.

Cool and Slice: Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing into thick pieces.

                      Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 40 minutes | Servings: 4-6

                        - Presentation Tips: Serve the Garbage Bread on a large cutting board, garnished with fresh basil leaves or a drizzle of extra pesto on the side for dipping. Enjoy!
