1 cup granola (preferably nut-based)

1 cup vanilla yogurt (or coconut yogurt for a vegan option)

½ cup honey or maple syrup (for a vegan option)

½ cup chopped mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Yogurt Layer: In a bowl, mix the vanilla yogurt with honey (or maple syrup) and vanilla extract until smooth. Set aside.

Layer the Berries: In your trifle dish or individual serving glasses, layer one-third of the mixed berries at the bottom.

Add Yogurt: Spoon half of the yogurt mixture over the berries, spreading it evenly.

Banana Slices: Add a layer of banana slices on top of the yogurt, creating an even layer.

Granola Crunch: Sprinkle half of the granola over the bananas for a crunchy texture.

Repeat Layers: Repeat steps 2-5: add another layer of berries, the remaining yogurt, banana slices, and the rest of the granola.

Top it Off: Finish with a final layer of mixed berries and sprinkle the chopped nuts on top.

Chill and Serve: Cover the trifle with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.

Garnish: Before serving, garnish with fresh mint leaves for an added touch.
